For the past couple of years, my school has participated in a fundraiser called Bowl for Kids Sake. All money raised goes to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC (a mentoring program that makes a difference in deserving children's lives). Personally, our school has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and a local high school to start a pilot program where we match high school ROTC students with elementary students.
